In 1990 the Mid-Centurians began furnishing their "Back-to-the-Fifties" room by shopping garage sales, thrift stores, second hand stores, antique stores, and later eBay. They continue to search today for "treasures" including Relco mosaic figurines, Universal Statuary ethnic figural chalkware, unusual Hyalyn ashtrays, black wire and chalkware wall decor, unique TV lamps, and Mirro Medallion aluminum ware.
